There was none. 3. Discussion Items 3.1. Elementary Students Presentations Several third grade students presented their wax museum projects to the board. 3.2. JEO Architect Firm The board interviewed JEO Architect Firm for future projects. 3.3. Committee on American Civics This is the first of two American Civics Meetings. 3.3.1. Public Comment on American Civics Committee There was none. 4. Short Recess Motion to have a short recess for 10 minutes and reajourn at 7:15 p.m.. Administrator Reports Written reports were received from the administrators. 5.2. Student Board Report Esten Johnsen presented his report to the board. 5.3. Superintendent's Report Dr. Fields discussed the Literacy Project through NAEP which will start next fall. Jill Hochstein attended the NASB Legislative Session. CareerPathway.com- https://www.careerpathway.com is a way for students to figure out what they might like to do in the future. Dr. Fields discussed his communication goal for the future and what he would like to do. Homeland Security will be coming the end of February to do an observation of our district. School Board Visits will take place the week of March 3-7, 2025. 6. New Business 6.1. Legislative Update Dr. Fields updated the board on legislative issues. 7. Action Items 7.1.
