VILLAGE OF GOEHNER September 07, 2021 The following is a condensed form of the minutes. A complete copy is on file and available for inspection upon request at the Village office. The regular board meeting of the Village of Goehner commenced immediately upon adjournment of the preceding budget hearing. Chairperson Knisley announced the location of the OPEN MEETINGS ACT POSTER. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Knisley at 7:30 p.m., at the Goehner Fire Hall. Upon roll call, the following board members were present: Agena, Besse, Bialas, Ostrander and Knisley. The following actions were taken with motions properly carried. Hearing to set Final Tax Levy was opened at 7:30, closed at 7:41, no discussion; Resolution 260 to set tax level was read and approved. Budget hearing opened at 7:45; budget was published 8/25/2021, closed at 8:02, no discussion; vote to approve Ordinance 256 to adopt fiscal budget passed. Approved: Consent agenda (Minutes of 8/3/2021; Treasurer’s Report; Bills payable to date). Clerk to correspond with attorney and give approval of final letter to Eberspacher’s attorney regarding cattle operation; clerk to work with attorney on process of condemnation of vacant property by Chez Bubba; Solid Waste meeting on 9/16, clerk to submit bills for reimbursement; Pankoke Construction to begin work on alleys in October, complete project by end of year; JEO presented findings of initial water study for village, board approved for continued study for grant application and infrastructure improvements; Clerk to complete CE hours by end of year, LB26 mandated that water service be nontaxable, clerk to recalculate effective 10/1; clerk to go out for bids for roof repair from storm damage.
