VILLAGE OF BEAVER CROSSING MINUTES of ORGANIZATIONAL BOARD MEETING DECEMBER 11th. 2013 The Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska met in open session at 8:30 p.m., at the Village Hall on December 11th 2013. The public had received advance notice of the meeting by posting the notice in the following places: Village Hall, Farmers & Merchants Bank, Marquee sign and the U.S. Post Office. Upon roll call the following board members were present: Chairman Dick Pariset, Vice- Chair Steve Vavra, John Davis, Jim Nichols and Laura Schluckebier. Members of the staff present were Clerk/Treasurer Shannon Chesnut and Maintenance Doug Welch. Chairman Pariset brought the meeting to order at 8:30 p.m. and announced the location of the Open Meeting Act Poster. Davis made a motion to keep Dick Pariset as Chairman and Steve Vavra as the Vice Chairman. Nichols second, Roll call vote, Pariset nay, Vavra abstained all others aye Motion carried. Pariset made a motion appoint Steve Vavra as the Zoning Administrator. Davis seconded, Roll call vote, Vavra abstained, all others aye Motion carried. Pariset made a motion appoint Doug Welch as the Maintenance Man. Roll call vote, Nichols seconded Motion carried. Pariset made a motion to keep Shannon Chesnut as the Clerk/Treasurer. Vavra seconded, Roll call vote, all aye, Motion carried. Pariset made a motion appoint Scott Gropp as our part time Village Attorney. Nichols seconded, Roll call vote, all aye Motion carried. Pariset made a motion appoint Olson & Associates as our Village Engineer. Davis seconded, Roll call vote, all aye Motion carried. Pariset made a motion appoint Olson & Associates as our Village Street Superintendant. Nichols seconded, Roll call vote, all aye Motion carried.
