A house on the corner of North Columbia and Lincoln avenues in Seward burned June 30. The controlled burn eliminated one of four houses on the block that are being removed to make way for new development. Apartment-style housing is planned as part of a Tax Increment Financing project through the City of Seward. The area will be known as Columbia Heights.
