The Revitalize Caregiver Retreat will be Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Seward County Fairgrounds’ Harvest Hall. It will kick off with speakers presenting on self-care and mental health aspects of caregiving and how to prepare for future transitions to further care.

The Seward City Council voted on Nov. 5 to approve a land lease agreement with Dari Processing, LLC, a fourth-generation family-run dairy company who is making plans to redefine the milk industry right in Seward’s rail campus. After two years of site research, the dairy company has narrowed Seward down to their top choice for site selection for an innovative dairy processing plant.

In opening the 2024-25 GPAC dual season, the Concordia University wrestling team held Midland without an offensive point until the final two matches of the evening. The Bulldogs won seven of nine contested matches and emerged from the Wikert Event Center in Fremont with a 36-6 win Nov. 6. Pins were delivered by Concordia’s Bryce Karlin, Barret Brandt and Hunter Weimer.

The theatre department at Concordia University will perform “Alice in Wonderland” as its fall main stage play on Nov. 8-10 and 15-17 in Weller Hall. Performances will take place each Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets to see this production cost $10 for general admission, or $5 for Concordia students and children.
