Suzen K. Ryan

July 30, 1947 – July 24, 2022

Suzen Kristine Ryan, of Niceville, Florida, left us too soon on July 24, 2022, at the age of 74. She was born July 30, 1947, in San Francisco, California.

For those who didn’t know Suzen, not Sue, she met her first husband in the Marine Corps. Yes, this feisty, full of spunk, 4’11 1/2” (she never let you forget the half) was a Marine. Kim was her only child, who she constantly told how proud she was of her.

Suzen was affectionately known as “Bamba” by her SIL, Alan, and it carried through to friends and family and what her grandsons called her.

Suzen was loved by so many. No matter where she went or who she met she would leave an impression.

Suzen was a history buff, kept her mind sharp with word games and was a voracious reader. Suzen enjoyed family gatherings and traveled as much as she could. She always had a smile and a positive attitude no matter the situation. Suzen left many broken hearts behind and will be missed. Just remember “W” is for Water Buffalo.

She joins her grandson, Logan Haskin.

Suzen leaves behind her husband, Rich Ryan, Niceville; daughter, Kim (Alan) Seward; grandsons, Ryan (Allison) Haskin, Seward, Austin (Aspen) Haskin, Omaha; great-grandchildren, Thomas and Taylor; aunt, Joan Green, Stockton, California; brother, Mike Green, Siloam Springs, Arkansas; brother/sisters-in-law, Dennis (Barb) Ryan, Flagstaff, Arizona, and Karen (Jim) Parker, Long Island, New York, and their children.

Condolences may be left for the family online at mclaughlintwincities.com.
