Schaefer

Kennedy Schaefer of Garland was crowned Miss Nebraska Nationwide 2015 in February.

Her parents are George and Melissa Schaefer.

On June 14, Kennedy will represent Nebraska at the Miss Nationwide national pageant in Houston, Texas.

Kennedy graduated high school in 2013 and currently studies journalism at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She is an active member of the Alpha Xi Delta chapter.

She also spends time volunteering and making appearances across the state to spread awareness of autism. Her platform, “Until Every Piece Fits,” is something she wants to bring to the national stage to highlight the importance of this topic.
