Rosemary Margaret (Vrbka) Stoll was born April 7, 1928, in Utica to Edward and Mary (Pazdersky) Vrbka and passed away Nov. 11, 2020, in Seward, at the age of 92 years, 7 months and 4 days.  Rosemary was baptized and confirmed at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. She attended school in Utica and graduated from Utica Public School with the Class of 1945. Rosemary then worked at Jones Cash Store until her marriage.

On April 18, 1951, Rosemary was united in marriage to Oren Stoll at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Utica, and to this union, four daughters were born. Rosemary was a farm wife and housekeeper. She loved baking, gardening and volunteering at church. After Oren’s passing in 1989, she was a housekeeper at St. Vincent Catholic Church in Osceola for many years. Rosemary was a lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Utica where she served on the Altar Society. She was also a member of the Utica American Legion Auxiliary for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oren; son-in-law, Fred Pozehl; grandson, John Janssen; great-grandson, Jack Logsdon.

Rosemary is survived by her four daughters, Carol and husband Mike Baack, Utica, Lorraine Pozehl, Bassett, Sr. Mary Fidelis Stoll, Linden, Virginia, and Marci Logsdon, Lincoln; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial was Nov. 16 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Utica with a graveside service and interment at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Dominic's Monastery. Condolences may be left for the family at www.zabkafuneralhome.com.
