PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that Seward County is requesting financial assistance from the Federal Transit Administration, pursuant to the Federal Transit Act, generally described below. The purpose of the project is for operating assistance to provide general public transportation for Seward County in its entirety for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 and 2022-2023. Estimated cost of the project is $508,506.00. Federal Grant funding will be requested at the sum of $291,231.00 and State Funding will be requested at the sum of $93,638.00. The local share of $93,637.00 will come from the Seward County Public Transit Budget and other in-kind services. A copy of the financial assistance application is available for public inspection at 320 South 14th Street, Seward, Nebraska.
