PROCEEDINGS FROM THE VILLAGE OF BEE BOARD OF TRUSTEES Regular meeting November 4, 2020 The following is a condensed form of minutes from the general meeting of the Village of Bee Board of Trustees held via conference call. A complete copy of said minutes is on file in the office of the Village and is available for public inspection. The general meeting of the Village of Bee Board of Trustees was called to order by Board Chair Shipley at 7:00 p.m. Shipley, Slack, Timblin, Roberts and Holloway answered roll call. Village Attorney Damman was on the conference call. Village Clerk Lavicky, and a few residents were present. Notices were posted in three locations. The following motions were made, seconded, and carried by unanimous vote: approve November minutes, to waive the three readings of an ordinance, to repeal the ordinance for holding the board meeting the first Wednesday, to approve the ordinance to hold the board meeting on the second Wednesday of the month, to approve signing of an agreement with Miller & Associates regarding the drainage study, to approve appointing Timblin to the new board, to appoint the Damman as village attorney, to appoint Shipley as board chair, to appoint Miller & Assoc as engineers, to appoint Lavicky as clerk/treasurer, to approve an administrative plat, to pay the following claims: Black Hills $227.67 Village use utilities; Card Service $896.09 supplies; Constellation $238.77 Village use utilities; Damman $90 legal; Hawkins $76 chlorine powder pillows; John Deere Financial $9 balance due for supplies; Nebraska Public Health Environment $8,810.90 loan payment; Nebraska Public Health $45 testing; Norris Public Power $1,595.73 Village Use utilities; Enterprises $200 recycling pickup; Seward County Independent $50.01 publishing; Seward County Sherriff $104.50 monthly contract; Sewer Reserve account $115.50 transfer; Suhr Lichty $535 workers comp insurance; State of Nebraska $295.45 sales tax and withholding; Village of Bee VFD truck fund $10,000 annual transfer; USPS $55 stamps; Walmart $34.98 supplies; Waste Connections $1.671.12 Village purchased utilities; Windstream $185.66 Village use utilities; payroll & reimbursements $1,927.80; and to adjourn.
