Proceedings from the Village of Bee Board of Trustees Regular meeting November 4, 2020 The following is a condensed form of minutes from the general meeting of the Village of Bee Board of Trustees held via conference call. A complete copy of said minutes is on file in the office of the Village and is available for public inspection. The general meeting of the Village of Bee Board of Trustees was called to order by Board Chair Shipley at 6:59 p.m. Shipley, Slack, Timblin, Roberts and Holloway answered roll call. Village Attorney Damman was on the conference call. Village Clerk Lavicky, and a few residents were present. Notices were posted in three locations. The following motions were made, seconded, and carried by unanimous vote: approve both of October minutes, to approve resolution 2020-08 approving the 1 and 6-year street plan, to close the 1 and 6-year open meeting, to approve the treasurer’s report, to approve resolution 2020-09 reapproving the Duffek subdivision to table the plan to paint the jail building, to start the process changing the ordinance for the regular meeting to be on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, to file for an audit waiver, to not transfer funds between equity accounts, to pay the following claims: Bee VFD truck fund $10,000 transfer; Black Hills $121.64 Village use utilities; Card Service $997.84 continuing ed. and supplies; Constellation $14.75 Village use utilities; Damman $45 legal; General Fire & Safety $478.90 annual fire extinguisher inspection; Hawkins $108.50 supplies; Jeff Klement $6,050 tree & stump removal; Mustang Graphics $80.75 dump sign; Norris PPD $852.93 Village use utilities; One Call Concepts $2.31 locates; Sam’s Club $45 membership; Recycling Enterprises $400 recycling pickup; Seward County Independent $4.91 publishing; Seward County Sheriff $104.50 monthly contract; Sewer Reserve account $115.50 transfer; State of Nebraska $291.32 sales tax and withholding; $55 stamps; Walmart $58.95 supplies; Waste Connections $959.85 Village purchased utilities; Windstream $223.549 Village use utilities; payroll & reimbursements $2,72547. and to adjourn.
