OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS UTICA VILLAGE BOARD SEPT. 12, 2016 The following is a condensed form of minutes. A complete copy is available at the Clerk’s office or on the website (www.uticane.com). The Village Board of Trustees met in special session at 1:30pm in the Auditorium. Notice of this meeting was given in advance by posting in three designated places, and advance notification of the trustees by delivery. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited, and the location of the Open Meetings Act was noted. The Public Hearing for comments regarding the proposed fiscal year 2016-17 budget was declared open. The public hearing was closed. Approved the 1% increase as allowed by law. Introduced Resolution 2016-07 to set the property tax request at a different rate than last year. Introduced Ordinance 751, the annual appropriation ordinance. Suspended the rules of reading on three separate occasions. Adopted and passed Ord. 751 as read. Introduced Ordinance #752, which will amend Ord. 713, and designate the age requirement for operators at 19 years of age. Suspended the rules of reading on three separate occasions. Adopted and passed Ord. #752 as read. Authorized the Chairman and President to make repairs to the baby pool depending on the results of ACCO’s research. Entered into executive session at 2:50pm to discuss personnel. Exited executive session and returned to open session at 3:30pm. No action was taken in executive session.
