The Staplehurst Village Board held their monthly meeting at 7:00 P.M. at the village hall, Chairman Thompson called the meeting to order and announced the open meeting act and location in the village hall. Roll call was taken with members present: Thompson, Stava, Benedict, Blath, Alloway. The following actions were taken: Approved minutes of the January meeting. Approved claims. Approved claims of 1,145.02 submitted for the fire department. Approved wage increase for Clerk and Waste water operator. The following claims were approved: Greg Damman retainer 250.00; Brandenburgh postage 22.95; NRWA membership dues 100.00; Farmers Co-Op fuel 199.97; Menards Sewer 353.91; Seward County Independent proceedings 19.94; Waste Connections garbage 67.73; Midwest Lab sewer 123.81; NNTC phone 59.84; O'Reilly Auto street 20.98; NMC street 1317.29 Constellation Energy gas 439.22; Black Hills Energy gas 351.56; Norris PPD electric 351.56; EFTPS general 1082.08; Salaries 3568.40.
