OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS of Staplehurst April 26, 2021 The following is a condensed form of minutes. A complete copy is on file at the Village Hall. The Staplehurst Village Board held their monthly meeting at 7:00 P.M. at the village hall. Chairman Thompson called the meeting to order and announced the open meeting act and location in the village hall. Roll call was taken with members present: Thompson, Stava, Blath, Alloway. The following actions were taken: Approved minutes of the March meeting. Approved claims. SENDD was present with the Fire Department and explained that we need to do an Income survey to start process of getting any kind of help with funding. The Trustees agreed to go forward with the survey. Levy of Special Assessments for the 3rd street project will not be heard. LTD Broadband internet service was tabled until next month. Street repair by Asphalt Paving was approved. Miller & Associates were present and talked about improvements that need to be done to water system. The following claims were approved: Greg Damman retainer 250.00; Jacobson Sand & Gravel Street 903.60; Waste Connections garbage 67.73; Farmers Co-Op fuel 293.48; One Call Concept gen. 6.52; Seward County Independent proceedings 13.19; John Deere Financial ST. 183.60; Midwest Lab sewer 281.31; JEO ST. 456.25; Taylor Drain & Sewer SE. 525.00; Norris PPD electric 1553.11; NNTC phone 59.78; Walmart Gen. 48.55; Constellation Energy gas 1210.98; Black Hills Energy gas 264.74; Wayne Regnier gen. 119.84; EFTPS general 1082.08; Department of Revenue 385.00; UI Connect 723.05; Salaries 3568.40.
