Marilyn M. “Sue” White was born Oct. 18, 1952, in Gordon to Murray and Edith (Grover) Hilliker and passed away on her birthday, Oct. 18, 2018, at Memorial Hospital in Seward at age 66. She attended country school in Cherry County and moved to Beaver Crossing in 1976. Sue was united in marriage to Robert White on Dec. 8, 1978, in Beaver Crossing, and to this union two children, Amy and Derek, were born.

They made their home in Falls City, Leavenworth, Kansas, and Valentine, and later returned to Beaver Crossing. Over the years Sue was a cook for various restaurants until her health began to fail. She loved to read, watch Nebraska football and especially spend time with her grandchildren, brother and sisters.

Survivors include her children, Amy White of Beaver Crossing and Derek White of Fargo, North Dakota; two grandchildren, Cam White and Zeke Duntz, both of Beaver Crossing; brother Roger Hilliker of Palm Springs, California; sisters and brothers-in-law, Katie and Phil Landreth of Rushville, Rose and Jerry Landreth, also of Rushville and Janice Noell of Cave Junction, Oregon; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and four sisters. 

Marilyn was cremated and she requested there be no service. Her cremated remains are to be scattered at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designation. Condolences may be sent to the family at laubermoore.com.
