Loyola "Oley" May Dvorak, of Utica, was born Nov. 23, 1932, to Melvin Cecil and Hazel Marie (Hurtie) Bridges in Beattie, Kansas.

She graduated from high school. On July 15, 1950, Loyola was united in marriage to Joseph Anton Dvorak at Holy Family Church in Lincoln. Loyola worked as a cook. In her free time, she enjoyed baking, puzzles, gardening and playing cards. She loved visiting and following her grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s activities. She also liked to socialize with her friends and participate in Senior Center activities. Loyola loved to go dancing and she made the “World’s Best” pancakes. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Utica. Loyola passed away July 21, 2021, in Seward, at the age of 88 years, 7 months and 28 days.

She is survived by her children, Sherry (Bill) Winkelman, Waco, Randy (Karen) Dvorak, Utica; grandchildren, Sterling (Tammy) Winkelman, Utica, Casey (Joe) Tonniges, Gresham, Cody (Charlotte) Dvorak, Kearney, Matt (Ann) Dvorak, Newport, Colette (Zane) Powell, Ogallala, McKenzie (Kenny) Parr, Utica; great-grandchildren, Aurora, Camden, Chaylee, Cheyenne, Elise, Dane, Addison and Eleanor; sister, Bonnie (Melvin) Suchy, Ceresco; sister-in-laws, Rose Bohac, David City, and Mae Pernicek, Brainard; numerous nieces and nephews. Loyola was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Hazel Bridges, and husband, Joseph Dvorak.

Mass of Christian Burial was July 27 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Utica with interment at the Utica Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.volzkefuneralhome.com.
