The Milford United Methodist Church will recognize and celebrate on Sunday, Oct. 5, the 25th anniversary of the Little Leaps Child Care Faith Development Center, serving the community.
The Sunday will begin with a celebratory recognition worship service at 10:30 a.m. and then a pork sandwich meal to follow. The community is invited to either and/or both gatherings with outdoor bouncy fun, weather permitting.
Pastor Lyn Seiser said event organizers are hoping for a reunion atmosphere of both those who worked for Little Leaps and those who were cared for at Little Leaps. They also hope that original board members and volunteers will come as well.
The worship service will include the Reverends Lyn Seiser, Keith Johnson and Jim Miller. Both Pastor Johnson and Pastor Miller were influential in the early days of The Development Center.
"We truly hope that the Milford community will join with us in our celebration in recognition of 25 years of faithful service to the children in their care,” said Pastor Seiser.
