John Alexander Savicky, of Malcolm, was born , to Bernard and Agnes (Allison) Savicky in Omaha.
He graduated from high school in Hialeah, Florida, in 1958. On July 19, 1968, John was united in marriage to Diane Lindner in Lincoln. Throughout his life, he worked as a truck driver, courier and handyman. He also did groundskeeping and maintenance for the dog trial area at Branched Oak Lake. In his free time, he enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports. He also liked to go hunting. John was always there to help his friends and family whenever needed. John passed away on March 17, 2021, in Seward, at the age of 81 years and 28 days.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Savicky, Malcolm; children, Doug (Lisa) Savicky, Malcolm, and Susie (Jason) Hartshorn, Garland; grandchildren, Owen Savicky, Olivia Savicky, Amanda Hartshorn and Allison Hartshorn. John was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Agnes Savicky.
