INVITATION FOR BIDS City of Seward will receive and accept bids ONLY through QuestCDN.com via their electronic VirtuBid™ online bid service. A virtual bid opening will be held June 3, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. utilizing a web conferencing application. The project consists of constructing: Install approximately 5,885 circuit feet of 15kV 350 KCM AL and approximately 450 circuit feet of 15kV 1/0 AL underground cable. The cable will be direct buried excluding highway/driveway under crossings, an area near McDonalds and crossing under the creek. Owner-furnished materials include cable, junction cabinets and switchgear. Contractor shall furnish all other labor, services, tools and materials necessary for a complete installation. Bids shall be on a Lump Sum with Unit Price. A certified check or bidder’s bond in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the amount bid. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to The City of Seward, Nebraska, as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance.
