David R. Nesladek, 75 years of Morse Bluff, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Kinship Pointe Assisted Living in Seward.

David was born April 5, 1946, to Adolph and Anna (Pabian) Nesladek in North Bend. David was baptized and confirmed at Cedar Hill Catholic Church near Morse Bluff, where he attended church and grade school at rural district #77. He attended North Bend High School and was drafted into the U.S. Army. He served from Nov. 27, 1967, to Nov. 25, 1970, during Vietnam. David resided near Morse Bluff, where he farmed the family farm during his lifetime. After retiring from farming, he moved to North Bend.

David enjoyed collecting toy farm equipment and reading farmers magazines. He also enjoyed the visits of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

David was a member of the VFW Post 340 at Morse Bluff and a Knights of Columbus member at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in North Bend.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Phillip.

He is survived by sister, Phyllis (L.J.) Meinberg of Seward and brother, James (Millie) Nesladek of Polson, Montana.

Funeral Mass was May 5 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in North Bend followed by burial with military honors at Cedar Hill Cemetery near Morse Bluff.
