COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Boards of Commissioner Meetings are held each Tuesday morning in the Seward County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m., except for the first Tuesday of each month when meetings will be held at 8:30 a.m. The Commissioners will be meeting at 8 a.m. on Friday, December 18 to approve Seward County Claims. Notice of each meeting is posted on the Courthouse bulletin board and on the Commissioner’s room door. The agenda for all meetings is kept continually current and is available for public inspection at the County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours. The agenda is held open until one business day prior to the meeting for appearance before the Board. The Board has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting. Accepted November 2020 Fee Reports for Clerk of the District Court and County Clerk. Discussed potential contract with former HR Director. No action was taken. Approved re-appointment of Dan Kovar to the Seward County Veteran’s Service Committee. Accepted the resignation of Jeff Baker, Seward County Veteran’s Service Officer/Public Transit Director, effective 12/31/2020. Discussed restructuring for Veteran’s Service/Public Transit/General Assistance position. Approved increase in credit card limit for Seward County Veteran’s Services/Public Transit. Approved Resolution No. 3551 in regard to correcting a previous Resolution concerning Petri Addition Short Form Plat. Approved signage for County buildings regarding Seward Mask Ordinance. Approved closure of County Offices on December 24, 2020.
