COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Boards of Commissioner Meetings are held each Tuesday morning in the Seward County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m., except for the first Tuesday of each month when meetings will be held at 8:30 a.m. Notice of each meeting is posted on the Courthouse bulletin board and on the Commissioner’s room door. The agenda for all meetings is kept continually current and is available for public inspection at the County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours. The agenda is held open until one business day prior to the meeting for appearance before the Board. The Board has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting. Hladky gave an update of her office. Convened as the Board of Commissioners. Approved the minutes of September 15, 2020. Approved the 2020 Emergency Management Performance Grant Sub-recipient Agreement. Approved Seward County Chamber Partnership Membership Agreement and the Seward County Funding Disbursement Agreement as presented by Jonathan Jank. Becky Paulsen, Seward County Weed/Zoning Director, gave an update on a Planning and Zoning meeting. Commissioners gave an update of their activities. Bids for gravel were opened. All bids were accepted. Approved 5311 Operating Assistance Certifications for fiscal year 2021 for Public Transit, as presented by Jeff Baker, Veterans Officer/Public Transit Director. Approved Extension to Maintenance and Support Agreement with Idemia, as presented by Maria Hatfield, Detention Center Director. Approved 2 Special Designated Liquor Licenses for JUNTO LLC for events on October 10, 2020, and October 17, 2020. Named Seward County Treasurer as the County Investment Officer. Seward County office inventories were discussed. Approved Sales Order Agreement and Aftermarket Support Agreement with Capital Business Systems for copy machines.
