APRIL 27, 2021 COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Boards of Commissioner Meetings are held each Tuesday morning in the Seward County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m., except for the first Tuesday of each month when meetings will be held at 8:30 a.m. Notice of each meeting is posted on the Courthouse bulletin board and on the Commissioner’s room door. The agenda for all meetings is kept continually current and is available for public inspection at the County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours. The agenda is held open until one business day prior to the meeting for appearance before the Board. The Board has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting. Hladky gave an update of her office. Convened as the Board of Commissioners. Approved minutes of April 20, 2021. Approved Seward County claims for the period through April 16, 2021. Officials gave updates of their offices. Commissioners gave an update of their activities. Approved adding two projects to the 1 & 6 Year Road Plan, as presented by Terry Wicht, Highway Supt. Approved contract with GWorks for Re-Districting Process Assistance. Approved Jones Bank and Cattle Bank to pledge additional securities. Jana Hughes and Matt Dominy were present to give information on a Public/Private Partnership for a Seward Wellness Center. Gary Petersen, Seward/York Emergency Manager, was present to discuss a Hazard Mitigation Application for funds for West Wing Safe Rooms. This project will be on the Agenda in two weeks. Approved Short Form Plats in Precincts I, N and O. Brett Baker and Tom Jorgensen were present to discuss stopping the scarification of East Seward Street.
