Daffodil Days supporters recognized
To all Daffodil Days supporters: To name a few, Pat Daehling who starts the fund raiser for the American Cancer Society’s spring event with a full page ad and order form in the Seward Independent. Ruth Glaess, who helped distribute flowers. Merle’s Floral Shop (Marge and Joyce) for the exceptionally gracious use of their facility to refrigerate, store and dispense for 2-3 days the daffodils. They not only offer the place, but also take over the volunteer’s work when they are absent.
To all who support this event by ordering flowers we are grateful. There is not a person whose life has not been touched by cancer. Let’s work together for a cure.
Most of our orders are received from a mailing list sent out by the Cancer Society.
