On Feb. 13, Seward County’s K-9 sergeant conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 80 that led to the arrest of one man.

The stop also resulted in the seizure of 4.82 pounds of hashish wax, 995 vials of hashish oil and approximately 112 pounds of hydro marijuana.

The stop occurred at approximately noon, when the sergeant conducted a traffic stop with a Penske moving truck.

He could smell an extremely strong marijuana odor coming off of the driver.

The sergeant deployed the K-9, who made a positive indication on the vehicle.

Glenn Halliday, 54, of Clearlake, California, was arrested and is being charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of hashish wax, possession of hashish oil, possession of marijuana more than 1 pound and no drug tax stamp.

The street value of the drugs is approximated at $560,000.
