Karol Kay Park gets new slide

Three Seward organizations came together for the installation of a new slide at Karol Kay Park on the northern side of Seward. The Seward Kiwanis Club and Seward Foundation donated $10,000 for the slide, which replaced an older one that was vandalized earlier this year. Pictured are, from left: Marv Taylor, Jill Perdue and Jerry Meyer of Kiwanis, Becky Vahle and Ryne Seaman of the Seward Foundation, Pat Sanley of Seward Parks and Rec, Vikki Gremel of the Seward Foundation, Bob Core of Seward Parks and Rec, and Allan Schmidt of Kiwanis, who chaired the project.
