Seward City Council members passed an ordinance requiring masks be worn in public within city limits at a special meeting on Thursday night. Ordinance No. 2020-33 was an amended version of the one presented during the regularly-scheduled council meeting on Tuesday night. That ordinance will take effect 10 a.m. on Saturday and sunset Jan. 6, the day after the council's regularly-scheduled Jan. 5 meeting.
