Brenda Marshall, left, presents Aris Rut with a plaque to commemorate her induction into the Nebraska Auctioneer Auxiliary Hall of Fame. 

Col. Bill and Aris Rut of Dorchester attended the 71st Nebraska Auctioneers Association convention in Omaha May 17-19, where Aris was inducted into the Nebraska Auctioneer Auxillary Hall of Fame. 

Bill was presented a quilt in a Quilt of Valor ceremony conducted by Executive Director Diane Duren and Phillis Schoenholz, Auxiliary member and member of the Piecemakers Quilt of Valor Sewing Group. 

The beautiful quilt was pieced and quilted by Carol Voss of Bruning and bound by the Piecemakers. 

Quilts were also presented to Dr. Jerry Adler of Juniata (formerly of Crete), Ed Hall of Waverly and Luke Huddelston of Kearney.

Bill and Aris have been in the auction business,  members of the associations and attended conventions since 1964. Both have served on the board of directors several times, are past presidents and served on various committees.
