Full-Time Cattle Feeder – Immediate opening for a FT Cattle
Feeder (not over the road) at a family-owned, 8,000-head cattle feed yard
in Seward, NE. Would be running a feed truck and loader on a daily basis.
Must be able to follow instructions, get along well with others and work as a
team. Daily duties include, but are not limited to, feeding cattle, feed truck
and equipment maintenance, mending fence, cleaning bunks, waterers, snow
removal and any other duties as required. Workdays are M–F, 7:00 a.m.–5:00
p.m. and every other weekend.

Full-Time Feed Yard Cowboy – Immediate opening for a FT Feed
Yard Cowboy. Applicant must be able to proficiently ride a horse (horses
provided). Must have knowledge and understanding about cattle behaviors
and be able to identify sick cattle, be able to segregate and treat sick cattle
and return to home pens accurately, and accurately receive and ship cattle
by weighing and counting. Other duties include cleaning/maintaining water
tanks, horse barn/stalls, hospital and processing areas, fencing and other
duties as required. Must have the ability to communicate and work well with
others. Workdays are Monday–Friday and every other weekend.
Applicant must be at least 19 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and qualify
as insurable under the company’s vehicle insurance guidelines. We offer competitive
wages, bonuses and vacation pay. Pay will commensurate with experience.
