Join Conservation Nebraska’s Common Ground Program for an Upcycling Workshop at Seward Memorial Library on Nov. 13 from 6 to 7 p.m. The Southeast Conservation Directors will give a presentation about upcycling old and used goods. Upcycling reuses old materials to create a product of greater value. For this event, an old shirt will become a new bag. Attendees need to bring a shirt for this upcycling workshop.

Conservation Nebraska protects our state’s natural legacy by educating the public, supporting communities, and increasing civic engagement. In 2016, Conservation Nebraska started the Common Ground Program, which provides educational opportunities for Nebraskans across the state about conservation issues facing their communities. Conservation Nebraska works to provide community members with the tools they need to improve their local environment and address local conservation concerns.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
