Do you have an heirloom in your home that is a treasure as well? Have you wondered if great-grandma’s vase should go into the garage sale or the safe? Is that framed art a rare and valuable museum piece?

Seward Memorial Library will host appraiser and speaker Tom Bassett on Sunday, Oct. 13. During his program, which begins at 1:30 p.m., he will talk about the valued items brought to the library by the audience.  If you have something for him to examine bring it to him by 1:15 p.m. that day. The program will be over by 3:30 p.m. (or earlier if the number of items warrant). Please limit your appraisal pieces to one per person. Photos of larger items can be shared as well.
