The regular meeting of the Seward Fourth of July Committee will be held Thursday, June 20, at 7 p.m. at the Seward Civic Center. This is the last general Committee meeting before the Fourth. Last-minute Fourth of July Celebration details will be shared and discussed. The meeting is open to the public.

The 2019 theme is a salute to education “Education-America’s Foundation.” The celebration also salutes Concordia’s 125th anniversary, its quasquicentennial. The grand marshalls for the parade are Drs. Laurie and Brian Friedrich of Concordia University in Seward.

On June 20, the Fourth of July Celebration Committee will also have a special meeting with local City of Seward department heads and committee chairs at 3 p.m. in the city’s municipal building to cover last minute details before the Fourth of July Celebration.
