County Commissioners: At yesterday's meeting, the Seward County Commissioners authorized the chairman to sign a contract to house inmates from Sarpy County. Detention Center Director Maria Hatfield said Seward County will begin by taking 10 of Sarpy County's inmates at a rate of $60 a day per inmate.
Pre-Three Story Time planned: Seward Memorial Library will offer a Pre-Three Story Time opportunity on May 31 and June 1 at 10 a.m. The 30-minute program features stories, songs and finger plays. Each child must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. No registration is required for this family program.
