Martin “Marty” A. Dart

Martin Allen Dart was born Sept. 23, 1957, to Verne and Jettie (Kirby) Dart in Lincoln. He graduated from Lincoln East High School in 1976. On April 4, 1981, Martin was united in marriage to Alise Richters at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward.

He was co-owner and vice president of Richters Inc. HVAC for more than 40 years. He loved his dogs, Cade, Allie, Bria, Re, Mirk and Carl as well as raising sheep. He also loved farming, putting up hay and livestock.

Martin passed away April 6, 2017, in Seward at the age of 59 years, 6 months and 14 days.

He is survived by his wife, Alise Dart of Seward; mother, Jettie Dart of Denton; sisters, Lori (Craig) Manson of Denton and Dian Dart of Denton; and brother-in-law, Tom (Jill) Richters of Seward.

Martin was preceded in death by his father, Verne Dart.

A funeral service was held April 11, 2017, at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, with the Rev. Scott Bruick officiating.
