More than 300 people showed up at Harvest Hall Jan. 29 to show their trivia knowledge.
St. John Lutheran School hosted its seventh annual Trivia Night with proceeds going to the St. John PTL for playground improvements.
Thirty-seven teams with eight people on a team had to correctly answer trivia questions in order to earn bragging rights. The event has grown over the years. The first trivia night had 12 teams and no costumes competing for a spirit award. Teams are invited to dress up for the event and have a table theme.
The Spirit winners this year were the presidential candidates. Second place went to the Saturday Night Live table and third place went to the Royals team.
This year’s winning trivia team included Laurie and Mike Mettenbrink, Michelle and Gerald Homp, Laurie and Curt Sherman, Pam Langewisch and Lisa Krings.
