Concordia University, Neb., had 16 different teams earn the NAIA Scholar-Team distinction during the 2006-07 academic year. The NAIA honored teams that earned at least a 3.0 team grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during 2006-07 academic year, as defined by its institution.
The women's basketball and women's cross country team each tied for the fourth highest GPA, 3.74, among over 400 teams earning the honor. The men's golf team at Robert Morris College (Ill.) topped the list with a 3.86 team grade point average.

Concordia's athletic teams are members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). In 2006-07, for the fourth consecutive year, Concordia led the GPAC in NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The Bulldogs claimed the GPAC All-Sports Trophy in 2002-2003 and 2004-2005.
