James and Mary Jo Arneson of Seward celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 1. There will be an open house for the couple Sunday, July 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 152 Pinewood Ave.
     The open house will be sponsored by their children, Mike and Sharry of Cheyenne, Wyo., Rick and Sheri of Hastings, Steve and Elizabeth and Dave and Cindy, all of Omaha, and Mark and Debbie of Lincoln. The couple has 19 grandchildren.
