Julie Gierke and John Lazarchic, both of Seymour, Ind., will be married Saturday, Friday, July 27 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour, Ind., at 4:30 p.m.
     Parents of the couple are Eugene and Linda Gierke of Seward, and the late Robert and late Barbara Lazarchic of Perry, Ohio.
     The bride-to-be graduated from Concordia College in 1993 and the University of Iowa in 1995 with a master's degree in library science. She has taught junior high and worked as the librarian at Immanuel Lutheran School, Seymour, Ind., since 2002.
     The groom-elect graduated in 1991 with a degree in engineering management from Grove City College in Grove City, Penn. He has worked as a quality engineer at Valeo Sylvania in Seymour, Ind., since 2004.
